About the Farm
Our organic Farm is perfectly situated on south facing slopes overlooking Chew Valley Lake in North Somerset.
When Bryony and her husband moved to the Farm in December 1995 little planting had been done but over time with a little experience of gardening and helpful advice from friends and professionals they began building fruit cages, ponds, raised vegetable beds, a croquet lawn, herb garden and woodland areas which are now all well-established and give the community living on the farm, and the local wildlife, much pleasure throughout the seasons.
Westfield Farm is now a community of conservationist wildlife enthusiasts with new diverse projects taking shape (Covid-19 permitting), we welcome volunteers and visitors. If you'd like to visit us please get in touch via contact us page.
There are currently five projects at the Farm, the Wilding Orchard, Limeburn Hill Vineyard, Forest Garden, and the newest addition The Slopes Project and of course, The Bees, without whom little pollination would take place!
